What is curator? As a first definition we can point out that it is a practice where the works in an exhibition are arranged to create new meanings. For some experts on the subject, in this practice there is a performative act that takes place in a physical space: a museum, a gallery, an independent space, but also a public space.
For a curator to play his/her role to the full, his/her actions must be grounded in theoretical bases: his/he work is that of a thinker who intervenes in the art world through complex discourses with simple solutions.
